Chris Sheppard [She/Her] set up Colmers HR in 2015 after working in corporate HR for 25 years. Her vision was to create a HR company that put the people at the heart of everything. Coming from a family of small business owners, she knew first-hand that the relationship between the owners and the employees was more than just a contractual one. Seeing them as family gave them the relationships that helped them succeed.

Colmers branched out in 2021 when Ryan Sheppard-Hughes [He/They] joined the company and solidified a new identity as a family run business. Ryan’s experience with EDI allowed for Colmers HR to move into different sectors for the company.

Supported by a trusted team of associates, she supports a wide range of SME businesses. They provide practical HR advice that is not only commercially viable but focused on the best outcome for all.
